It Looks Like The Lola Staar Souvenir Boutique will be Returning to the Coney Island Boardwalk!

Wow! I have the most insanely amazing news…

Today I received a call from the last person on the planet I would expect to get a call from! Joe Sitt, president of Thor Equities called to offer me a 2010 lease on the very same shop he evicted me from less than one year ago.

I practically fell out of my seat when I answered the phone and it was Joe Sitt! It was an incredibly unexpected phone call! Then, when he offered me a lease, I was so so happy to accept!

As you probably know, Sitt kicked me out of my beloved shop on the boardwalk in January of 2009. It was a tremendous heartbreak to lose my shop! My store was so much more than a business to me. I loved that shop dearly and all of the experiences associated with running it.

Although I have not received the official paperwork from Thor who needed to confirm the details of the lease with the City, it looks like it’s time to start packing boxes and moving back in for a triumphant return to the boardwalk for the 2010 season! I will keep you updated about the progress! When it is confirmed we will be having a HUGE Lola Staar Returns to the Boardwalk Celebration!

It’s been a wild ride!! I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to contribute to the Coney Island boardwalk again this summer!!

Hurray!!
